Jaspal Kaur is a senior lecturer with the Cluster of Applied Science, Open University Malaysia, where she joined as a lecturer in 2004. She obtained her Master of Information Technology at the National University, Malaysia in 2001. The title of her thesis is “Smart Card Applications System Development”.  She is pursuing her PhD at Open University Malaysia, expected to be completed by 2018. Her main research interests include information retrieval and database systems.  She is currently working on indexing and retrieving PDFs from Personalised Digital Libraries.
